Co-requisites: To enroll in this Teaching Unit, the student must also be registered for LEISS2902 : Initiation à la recherche en éducation (S4).
Main themes
The aim of this course is to support students in the construction and production of their dissertation. Theoretical, methodological and ethical proposals and guidelines are developed to support students in the production of their dissertation. 
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  1. set out the problem and research focus of their dissertation;  
  2. highlight the main elements of the literature review relating to their dissertation;  
  3. justify the theoretical and methodological choices made in carrying out his/her dissertation;  
  4. relate the dissertation to educational situations and issues.

Content
Propose, test and build tools with a view to :  
  • Carry out a literature review  
  • Construct a problem  
  • Building a theoretical framework  
  • Build a methodological system  
  • Collect and process data  
  • Produce results in relation to the research object and theoretical framework  
  • Discuss the results ultats 
Teaching methods
Alternating between :  
  • presentations of theoretical and methodological models and tools;   
  • presentations and analyses of research materials produced elsewhere.
