At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :
1	Analyze the links between politics and literature
2	Read and understand works written in Interwar Italy
3	Understand the links uniting this period to contemporary Italy

Content

The course will address the links between the fascist regime and Italian literature of the interwar period. The aim will be to show how writers have complied – or not – with the norms of the totalitarian state. Particular attention will be given to anti-fascist writers
