Elements of human physiology seen during LSINC1133.
Main themes
  • Overview of human pathology (cancer, infection, cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, autoimmunity, diabetes...)
  • Examples of applications of computer science applied to life in the understanding (research), diagnosis, treatment of these diseases.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • master the basic vocabulary used in human pathology, so as to be able to understand a biomedical problem and communicate with a health professional;
  • know the basics of the major groups of human pathologies.
