Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  1. Master the key concepts and skills necessary for teaching artistic disciplines in secondary education.
  2. Internalize the role assigned to the teacher within the educational institution, in reference to legal texts, and position oneself as a future educator.
  3. Mobilize knowledge in the humanities for a proper interpretation of situations experienced in and around the classroom.
  4. Integrate pedagogical attitudes and behaviors to serve individual and collective learning, and manage the classroom group.
  5. Acquire and apply the didactics of performing arts that guide pedagogical action.
  6. Design and plan teaching-learning situations in the performing arts, including assessment, based on the students involved and in connection with competency frameworks and curricula.
  7. Lead and regulate the implementation of teaching-learning situations in performing arts.
  8. Explore new disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and technological pedagogical approaches and tools.
  9. Challenge initial representations and conceptions to evolve them.
  10. Adopt a reflective attitude towards one's own teaching practices, based on didactic and pedagogical principles as well as educational research.
  11. Integrate a logic of continuous learning and development, essential for positive growth in the educational world, linked to societal reality.
