Content
In the LEPHY1108 module, we will focus on the relationship between physical activity and health.
The course is structured around several themes, including health literacy and physical literacy, the various definitions of physical activity, a sedentary lifestyle, physical fitness, and recommendations regarding physical activity and sedentary behaviour. We will also look at methods for measuring physical activity and sedentary behaviour. Particular attention will be paid to the preventive role of physical activity and sport in relation to non-communicable diseases.
We will also explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their link to physical activity and sport.

Teaching methods
This course will be taught face-to-face in an auditorium.
Evaluation methods
- Written exam with open questions covering all the material covered during the course.
- The assessment arrangements for the first sitting apply to the second sitting.
