    Content
LANGL1841 is a 2-hour course given in the second term.
Moodle LANGL1841: This platform is used to propose online activities to all students. Those activities deal with topics connected with their studies. Thanks to online tests, students can also test their understanding of the grammar and vocabulary that they have to study.
    Teaching methods
In the second term, the groups are divided as follows: Beginners: less than 4.4 at the placement test group 1-8 : more than 4.5 and less than 10/20 at the placement test.
    Evaluation methods
    1. Compulsory Placement Test : all students must take this ONLINE test (on Moodle) in Octobre. Top-ranked students (more than 10/20 at the placement test) will be invited to take an exemption test during the First Term (November). On the basis of the results, students can be exempted from the course and the final exam (10/20).
    2. The Final (Written) Exam: The final exam takes place in June.
The examination covers the texts and videos studied in class, the vocabulary from the course notes as well as that included in the "Self-Study" section, the grammar points addressed throughout the course, and the pronunciation of the words studied both in class and in the Répétiteur.
The final examination is scheduled during the June examination session (see Moodle for details).
    3. Progress bar: The Moodle progress bar accounts for 15% of the final grade. The mark is calculated on the basis of the percentage of activities completed, as indicated by the progress bar (e.g., 90% progress gives 13.5 / 15).
    4. Third written exam (Sept.) The Sept exam covers everything and continuous assessment will not be taken into account.
    Other information
Student-led classes are organized in Q1 in addition to the LANGL1841 classes (Aide a la Réussite channel).
Different possibilities of remediation will be recommended to weaker students - if necessary. Among these possibilities Aide à la Réussite classes will be offered.
