Content
The work carried out as part of the LEPHY2100 course, as well as in the memoire (masters thesis), is designed to teach students research skills. In LEPHY2100, students will identify a topic, review the relevant literature, and draw up a plan for their subsequent research.
Teaching methods
Development of a research project through interactions with a supervisor and an analysis of the scientific literature.
Evaluation methods
Evaluation for this course is based on continuous assessment.

☒ oral presentation (50%)
☒ work completed (10%)
☒ Conditions of participation: Students are required to find a project and a supervisor by a deadline which will be communicated to them via the course mailing list. Failure to meet this requirement within the specified timeframe will result in a fail mark (0/20) for this course.
The completion of the assignment is subject to the ‘AI Use’ charter in force at the FSM (Generative AI | Catholic University of Louvain). Students are required to complete the AI usage declaration form and attach it to their work.
☒ The assessment criteria for the first session apply to the second session, provided that students have already identified a project and a supervisor before the set deadline.
