This seminar involves an in-depth analysis of a gender-related issue. The professor will guide you through the research process, and you are encouraged to apply your own disciplinary perspective.

Teaching methods

The seminar is based on an active pedagogy to present a gender issue in several steps. At the end of the seminar, you will be able to carry out research on gender linking your field work to the scientific literature. Most of classes will be based on the principle of the flipped classroom

Evaluation methods

The course is based on continuous assessment (15% of the grade), a final group dissertation (30%), and an oral presentation (55%). 
In the second examination session, the continuous assessment grade will be retained. The exam will involve submitting revised versions of the assignment and oral presentation, incorporating the individual feedback received during the copy viewing session (only possible on a single date, which will be communicated by the student secretariat).
The professor may propose to the jury to refuse the registration for the assessment of any student who has not regularly attended the course (i.e., more than four unjustified absences).
In this course, the use of AI is prohibited.
