Evaluation methods
Access to the internship is conditional upon submission of the internship agreement by 15 November preceding the start of the internship. Failure to submit the agreement by this deadline will result in the student being prevented from registering for the assessment associated with this course unit, in accordance with Articles 72 et seq. of the RGEE.
The internship grade will be based on: (1) the competencies acquired during the internship (50%), (2) the quality of the student’s participation and engagement during internship supervision sessions (10%), and (3) the content of the internship report (40%).
A failing grade in component (1) or (3) will result in a failing final grade for the course unit, in accordance with the principle of the absorbing grade (“note absorbante”). In such cases, the final grade will correspond to the lowest grade obtained for component (1) and/or component (3).
Only a failing grade for the internship report may be reassessed during the second examination session. A failing grade in June for the competencies acquired during the internship will remain a failing grade for the September examination session.
Failure to complete the full 600 hours of internship and/or failure to participate in the internship supervision sessions will result in a failing final grade for the course unit.
