Content
Psychological difficulties in children and adolescents will be examined from a holistic perspective. Particular attention will be paid to cross-cutting issues that emerge within the specific developmental and social contexts of childhood and adolescence.
Teaching methods
The course includes small-group activities based on clinical case vignettes. These activities enable students to participate in role-plays facilitated by teaching assistants, engage in peer intervision sessions, and benefit from supervision sessions. The clinical vignettes are selected to reflect the complexity and diversity of real-world clinical situations.
Evaluation methods
The assessment will consist of continuous assessment throughout the term, including oral presentations in small groups and written assignments (individual and group). The specific details (number, format, weighting, and deadlines of the exercises) will be provided at the start of the course and will be available on the course website on the Moodle platform.
In the second session, the assessment will be individual and will include an oral exam and a written assignment.
For both sessions, regardless of the work submitted, if a student uses artificial intelligence (AI), they must systematically and explicitly indicate all parts that have involved the use of AI, specifying how it was used. Furthermore, all sources of information must be systematically cited in accordance with bibliographic referencing standards. The student remains responsible for the content of their work, regardless of the sources used.
