Content
Translation of geopolitical texts in professional situation, introduction on the topic, technical explanations and comments, documentary, documentary and terminological research. The translation should be of usable quality for a specialised professional.
Teaching methods
Acquisition and consolidation of the professional skills and competences. Teaching and learning how to manage and translate texts with various types of technical content, difficulty levels, lengths, and linguistic or redactional quality. The course unfolds in presential mode (theory, mission description, Q&A, corrections, search for terminology/phraseology, practical exercises, project finalisation).
Evaluation methods
January session: evaluation through a written exam at the end of the teaching unit.
August-September session: written exam on the topics dealt with in the course.
