At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • analyze the financial structure of a company and explain its challenges;
  • analyze a company's distribution policy;
  • to estimate the value of a project or a company by integrating the complexity of the real world;
  • analyze the long-term and short-term financial policy of a company;
  • define corporate governance and explain the issues.

Evaluation methods
Within this course, students' skills assessment is twofold :
• Ongoing assessment with mandatory homeworks (case studies) to deliver during the semester (25% of the final grade)
• Written exam with open questions at mid-semester (75% of the final grade)
The grade of the homeworks is not longer taken into account in case of second session (resit exam=100% of the grade).
