According to the terms of the ministerial decree, if it is included in an approved internship plan, part of the practical training can be carried out in an approved foreign establishment. In all cases, at least one year of practical training is followed in an approved internship service in Belgium.
The Faculty maintains an international network of partner hospitals to welcome UCLouvain specialist candidates. An agreement for the realization of internships exists with the University of Montreal and certain universities in France. We also work with other partner institutions, on a case-by-case basis, mainly in France and Switzerland.
