Programme structure

Bilingual programme

In addition to the compulsory language courses in the bachelor's programme, Saint-Louis offers bilingual programmes which allow students to practise a second language actively.

Students take part of their programme in a language other than French, which amounts to three course units per year for the bilingual French/English programme.

A first-cycle programme

The bachelor's degree in business engineering is a first-cycle programme (a 'transition' bachelor's degree), consisting of 180 credits spread over three years (60 credits per year). It prepares students for the master's degree programme in the second cycle.

The programme includes courses in science and technology, as well as in-depth courses in mathematics and statistics. However, the programme is designed to meet the minimum requirements of the common courses in the Faculty of Economics, Social and Political Sciences and Communication Saint-Louis in each subject, and thus – through a recognition of the equivalence of credits – allow the same easy reorientation possibilities as the other bachelor's degree programmes in the faculty.
