The master’s programme consists of four parts:
- core courses, consisting mainly of the final thesis (33 credits);
- a professional focus, mandatory (30 credits);
- one or more options;
- elective courses.
The thesis is typically completed in the last annual block. However, students may choose to take courses in either the first or second annual block, depending on their training project, if course prerequisites are met. This flexibility is especially relevant for students who undertake part of their studies abroad. Therefore, the annual blocks assigned to activities in the detailed programme are only indicative.
Additionally, students who with to and have a coherent project may significantly broaden their training to include non-technical disciplines through elective courses.
For a programme-type, and regardless of the focus, options/or elective courses selected, this master will carry a minimum of 120 credits divided over two annual units, corresponding to 60 credits each.
