Introduction

Accounting professions, and more particularly auditing and chartered accountancy, require increasingly specialised skills.

In response to this concern, a master's degree [120] in management sciences with a specialised focus on ‘Revisorat et expertise comptable’ is being organised on the Mons campus.

However, for those who already hold a master's degree in management and wish to follow an ‘à la carte’ programme to complete their training and meet all the requirements of the Institute for Tax Advisors & Accountants (ITAA) and the Institut des Reviseurs d'Entreprises (IRE), it is possible to register for the certificate in auditing and certified accountancy (REC9CE).

The number of credits for this programme is variable and depends on the student's previous experience.  However, it may not be less than 30 credits.

Your profile

You

  • have a master's degree in management sciences or equivalent.
  • would like to receive more in-depth, up-to-date training in public accounting and/or auditing.
  • wish to receive excellent preparation for the ITAA and IRE aptitude exams or obtain exemptions from the entrance exams for these Institutes.
Your programme

The courses in this certificate are derived from the master [120] in management with a specialisation in ‘Revisorat et expertise comptable’.  This certificate therefore benefits from a teaching staff composed mainly of experienced practitioners and favours a teaching approach based on case studies, seminars and practical work.
