At the end of the Master [120] in History, graduates have several options:
- pursue another specialization within the same master's program
- enroll in another master's program (60, 120, or specialization)
- enter postgraduate studies
- undertake a professional internship and/or prepare for their socio-professional integration.
1. Other specializations within the same 120-credit master's program
Upon completion of the Master [120] in History, each specialization within this master's program can be obtained in a new program requiring only 30 credits.
2. Other master's programs (60, 120 or specialization)

- Advanced Master in Archival Science, Record Management and Law
3. Doctorate (third cycle)
This 120-credit master's program provides access to the Doctorate in History, Art History, and Archaeology.

4. Internships and socio-professional integration
During their master's program or after graduation, students have the opportunity to prepare for their socio-professional integration with the relevant departments of the Faculty and UCLouvain. They can also complete their training with a professional internship in Belgium or abroad. In some cases, the necessary steps must be taken during the master's program.
