Financial Terms
Financial Commitment
By confirming their registration, participants agree to pay the full registration fees corresponding to the entire duration of the program (weeks, months, or years, depending on the program). Consequently, withdrawal or discontinuation during the program does not entitle the participant to any refund, except in cases of force majeure that are duly justified and assessed by the Continuing Education Office of the Faculty of Kinesiology at UCLouvain.
The registration fees include, in particular:
- tuition;
- instructional materials provided;
- the UCLouvain student ID card (if applicable);
- access to digital platforms, facilities, and infrastructure necessary for the smooth operation of the program.
AKAL Alumni UCLouvain Discount
Members of AKAL Alumni UCLouvain receive a 2% discount on tuition fees for courses costing more than €1,000.
This discount cannot be combined with other benefits or payment options, including discounts, installment plans, training vouchers, or any other discount program.
The participant must expressly and formally request the discount at the time of registration. The discount will therefore not be applied automatically or retroactively.
Withdrawal and Cancellation Policies
Registration becomes effective upon validation on the OSIS platform. As of the date of validation, the participant is deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and agrees to pay the registration fees in accordance with the specified terms.
In the event that the participant cancels the registration, the following refund policy will apply:

- 30 days or more before the first day of the training : 100% refund of the registration fees paid
- Between 30 and 15 days before the first day of the training : 50% refund of the registration fees paid
- Less than 15 days before the first day of the training program : 25% refund of the registration fees paid
On or after the first day of the course, or in the event of withdrawal or discontinuation during the course, no refund will be issued, except in cases of force majeure that are duly justified and accepted by the Continuing Education program of the Faculty of Kinesiology at UCLouvain
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, and the date of receipt of such a request will determine the calculation of any refund.
