Unitex

UNITEX is an open-source software created at the Institut Gaspard Monge by Sébastien Paumier and based on automata-oriented technology. Unitex is used to process the corpora of the GREgORI project. It allows to process and to explore tagged texts.

UNITEX is a multilingual platform supporting the Unicode standard. To date, language resources for Ancient Greek, Armenian and Georgian are included in the UNITEX package file.

mkAlign

The mkAlign software, created at the Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III University by Serge Fleury, allows user to align parallel corpus. Once the source text and the target text have been processed, mkAlign exports the bi-textual data denuder the TMX format (Translation Memory eXchange), a formalism reusable with the computerized developments of the CENTAL. Furthermore, mkAlign offers statistical and text-mapping functionalities.
