L’appel transnational Urban Europe ERA-NET “Urban Transformation Capacities” (ENUTC) – Building transformation capacity through arts and design: Unlocking the full potential for urban transitions est ouvert.

L’appel est dit transnational car le consortium sera international avec chaque partenaire financé par l’agence de financement nationale/régionale auprès de laquelle il est éligible. Pour les équipes UCLouvain, le bailleur de fonds est INNOVIRIS.

Call Themes

L'appel vise à financer des projets collaboratifs (maximum 24 mois), multidisciplinaires et innovants entre scientifiques et praticiens du secteur culturel et créatif ou des secteurs, privés et publics. L’objectif est de financer des projets qui œuvrent à faire de nos villes des villes durables tendant vers la neutralité carbone d’ici à 2030 et qui s'appuient sur des perspectives et approches esthétiques en termes artistique, culturel, d’architecture et de design ainsi que de nouvelles formes de gouvernance et collaborations impliquant les citoyens.

Les propositions devront s’intégrer dans une ou plusieurs thématiques parmi les thématiques prioritaires suivantes :

• Expérimentation et co-création pour un futur urbain qui soit agréable et durable
• Transformation vers des villes durables
• Imaginer des quartiers inclusifs, verts et agréables à vivre

Appel, guide et formulaire – ENUTC

• Soumission de la proposition: 25/04/2023
• Consortium: avec minimum 2 partenaires issus de minimum 2 pays différents participant à l’appel. Le consortium doit inclure au moins un candidat du secteur culturel et créatif et de préférence au moins un organisme représentant les citoyens.
• Chaque partenaire du projet est financé par l'agence de financement nationale/régionale participante.

Pays participants : Belgium, Bulgaria, Latvia, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden

• Chaque agence de financement a posé ses propres règles de financement.
• Durée d'un projet: maximum 24 mois

Règlement INNOVIRIS

• Toute soumission devra être complétée par une demande de financement auprès d’Innoviris.
• Le projet devra être susceptible de présenter un impact favorable sur l’économie, l’emploi ou le développement durable en RBC .
• Prise de contact avec Innoviris obligatoire: Gaëlle HUBERT au moins deux semaines avant le dépôt des propositions.
• Budget régional maximum 300,000 EUR

Le financement couvre :

• • Pour les organismes de recherche : 100 % des coûts du projet.
  • Pour les entreprises : entre 40% et 80% des coûts du projet, en fonction de la taille de l’entreprise et de l'axe du projet (recherche industrielle de développement expérimental).
  • Pour d’autres organisations : entre 40% et 100% des coûts du projet, en fonction de la part des activités économiques de l’organisation.
• Au moins un acteur public de la Région bruxelloise doit être impliqué dans le projet (administration urbaine, commune, etc.) en tant qu'acteur actif
• En parallèle à la soumission au niveau européen, Innoviris impose le dépôt d’un formulaire spécifique à INNOVIRIS par chaque partenaire bruxellois, au plus tard pour le 25 avril 2023. Les propositions qui n’auront pas été déposées auprès d’Innoviris seront considérées comme non-éligibles.

The transnational call for proposals Urban Europe ERA-NET “Urban Transformation Capacities” (ENUTC) – Building transformation capacity through arts and design: Unlocking the full potential for urban transitions is open.

Call Themes

The call aims at supporting collaborative (maximum 24 months), multidisciplinary and innovative projects between scientists and practitioners from the cultural and creative sector or from all other sectors, both private and public. The objective is to support projects that are building transformation capacities towards climate neutral and sustainable cities by 2030 and that rely on aesthetic perspectives and approaches in terms of design, form architecture, art and cultural heritage and new forms of governance and collaboration, as well as by engaging citizens. The applicants can select between three topics when developing their projects. The three topics can be combined when relevant for the projects purpose, aim and methodology. The topics are:

• Experimentation and co-creation for a beautiful and sustainable urban future
• Transformation to sustainable cities / urban transformation
• Designing Inclusive, Liveable and Green Neighbourhoods

This call for proposals is transnational i.e. the consortium shall involve partners from different countries ; each partner will be financed directly by its national/regional funding agency. i.e. INNOVIRIS for UCLouvain.

General information about URBAN-EUROPE ENUTC

• Deadline: 25/04/2023
• Consortium: minimum eligible 2 applicants from at least 2 of the countries participating in this call for proposals. the consortium must include at least one applicant from the culture and creative sector, and preferably at least one representative from citizens inhabitants (neighbourhoods) or a community organisation.
• Each partner is funded directly by its regional/national funding agency.

Participating countries : Belgium, Bulgaria, Latvia, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden

• Each national/regional funding agency has its own financial rules.
• Project duration: maximum 24 months

INNOVIRIS RULES

• A Regional application form needs to be submitted by each individual partner to INNOVIRIS by 25 April 2023.
• The project will be innovative and will present the positive impact on regional economy and employment by valorisation of results in the region
• Prior contact with Innoviris is highly recommended: Gaëlle HUBERT at least 2 weeks before the deadline.
• Maximum regional budget: 300,000 EUR
• The financial support covers:
  • For research centres: 100% of the project cost.
  • For companies: between 40% and 80% of the project cost, depending on the size of your company and the project focus (industrial research of experimental development).
  • For other organisation: between 40% to 100% of the total project costs, depending on the share of economic activities of your organisation.
• At least one public actor from Brussels Region must be involved in the project (urban administration, municipality etc.)
• As a Brussels entity, you must submit an regional application for funding application to Innoviris in parallel to the European submission. Please note that no submission of your project to Innoviris will cancel your participation in this competition.
