I am a postdoctoral researcher currently holding an FSR Incoming Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve. I completed my BA and MA in Basel and Paris before moving to the UK for my PhD at Trinity College, Cambridge, where I focused on a synoptic study of Statius’ Silvae. Following this in-depth exploration of the Flavian period, which remains an ongoing interest, my research has since expanded – within the framework of the interdisciplinary project STAtes of STAndardisation – to the literature and intellectual currents of Late Antiquity, with a particular focus on authors such as Ausonius, Prudentius, and Claudian. My approach is increasingly interdisciplinary, as I work at the intersection of literature, religion, and archaeology.

I have published on Late Antique, Imperial, and Renaissance literature, and I hold a strong interest in the reception of classical texts by later authors, ranging from early humanism to post-war poetry.
