This brief seminar provides an tour d'horizon of an inviscid model for unsteady external aerodynamics within a two-dimensional framework. It introduces the fundamental components that form the basis of this model, illustrating how
basic vorticity elements are employed to characterize the behavior of fluid flows around solid airfoils or flexible self-propelled swimmers, enabling the calculation of both internal and external forces experienced by these entities.

Furthermore, it discusses impulse-related techniques to streamline the computational efficiency and enhance the stability of the numerical model.
