Invited speakers:

Ø Prof. Lukas Volz, University of Cologne, Germany.

Pr. Volz is Professor of Stroke and Neurorehabilitation at the University of Cologne and University Hospital Cologne, where he leads the Network Plasticity research group. His research focuses on the reorganization of brain networks after stroke, combining advanced neuroimaging, non-invasive brain stimulation, and motor learning approaches to better understand and enhance functional recovery. His work aims to translate insights into neural plasticity into innovative rehabilitation strategies for patients with neurological disorders.

Ø Prof. Friedhelm C. Hummel, École Polytechnique de Lausanne (EPFL) Switzerland.

Pr. Hummel is full Professor and chair of Clinical Neuroengineering at EPFL, where he leads the Hummel Laboratory within the Neuro X Institute and Brain Mind Institute. As an internationally recognized expert in neurorehabilitation and neurologist, his research combines systems neuroscience, neuroimaging, and non-invasive brain stimulation to understand brain plasticity and promote recovery after stroke and healthy aging. His work focuses on developing innovative neurotechnologies and personalized therapeutic strategies to improve motor and cognitive function in neurological disorders.
