Lundi 16 octobre, lors d’un séminaire organisé conjointement avec l’IEE (Saint-Louis), Anu Bradford présentera son nouveau livre Digital Empires: The Global Battle to Regulate Technology. Après son ouvrage influent sur l’Effet Bruxelles (The Brussels Effect: How the EU Rules the World, OUP, 2020), Anu Bradford s’est intéressée à la concurrence entre différents modèles de régulation. À partir de l’exemple de la régulation des nouvelles technologies, Anu Bradford met le modèle européen de régulation dans une perspective mondiale et réfléchit sur ce qui le singularise par rapport au modèle américain et au modèle chinois.

La présentation par l’auteure sera suivi d’un temps de questions-réponses.

During a seminar organised jointly with IEE (Saint-Louis), on Monday 16 October, Anu Bradford will be presenting her new book Digital Empires: The Global Battle to Regulate Technology. Following her influential book on the Brussels Effect (The Brussels Effect: How the EU Rules the World, OUP, 2020), Anu Bradford has turned her attention to the competition between different regulatory models. Using the example of the regulation of new technologies, Anu Bradford places the European regulatory model in a global perspective and reflects on what sets it apart from the American and Chinese models.

The author's presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
