Johan Celsing is one of Sweden’s most renowned contemporary architects. Born in 1955 in Stockholm, he studied at the KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, Paris. He held the professorship of Advanced Design at the KTH from 2008 to 2018 and was also a visiting professor at the Universidad da Navarra. In 2017 he was awarded a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) International Fellowship.

His architecture is both local and international. In 2021 an extensive monography of his buildings and texts was published at Park Books, to comprehensively collect his diverse body of work.

His lecture will both speak of built and ongoing projects, brought together with the underlying themes "Intentions, Patterns, Paradoxes".

Johan Celsing est l'un des architectes contemporains les plus renommés de Suède. Né en 1955 à Stockholm, il a étudié au KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) de Stockholm et à l'Académie de la Grande Chaumière de Paris. Il a occupé le poste de professeur de design avancé à la KTH de 2008 à 2018 et a également été professeur invité à l'Universidad da Navarra. En 2017, il a été proposé membre internationale du RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).

Son architecture est à la fois locale et internationale. En 2021, une monographie exhaustive de ses bâtiments et de ses textes a été publiée chez Park Books, afin de rassembler l'ensemble de son travail.

Sa conférence portera à la fois sur des projets construits et en cours, réunis autour des thèmes sous-jacents "Intentions, Patterns, Paradoxes".
