L'appel à à candidatures WBI-FNRS/CSC 2023-2024 pour un doctorat ou postdoctorat en Chine est ouvert.

Pour quoi ?

Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) et le Fonds de la Recherche scientifique (F.R.S.-FNRS) ont conclu avec le China Scholarship Council (CSC) un accord permettant l’octroi de bourses de recherche dans le cadre d’un doctorat (en cotutelle ou non) ou d’un post-doctorat, aux ressortissant.e.s de la Communauté française de Belgique, pour effectuer un parcours dans une université chinoise.

 

Pour qui ?

Ce programme s’adresse aux candidats désireux d’effectuer un séjour de recherche (dans le cadre d’un doctorat ou d’un post-doctorat) dans une université chinoise, et appartenant à au moins l’une des catégories suivantes:

  • Titulaires d’un diplôme de master obtenu dans une institution d’enseignement supérieur organisée ou subventionnée par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles ;
  • Doctorants (en co-tutelle ou non) actifs dans une institution d’enseignement supérieur organisée ou subventionnée par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles ;
  • Post-doctorants qui mènent leur recherche au sein d’une institution d’enseignement supérieur organisée ou subventionnée par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Quoi ?

Pour les bourses de longue durée : 1 an (renouvelable jusqu’à trois fois pour les bourses de doctorat, non renouvelable pour les bourses de post-doctorat).

Pour les séjours de courte durée : 6 mois au maximum (doctorat et post-doctorat), non renouvelable.

Comment ?

Attention, il s’agit d’une double candidature :

  1. Formulaire de candidature en ligne à télécharger sur le site de WBI.
  2. Formulaire à compléter en ligne sur le site du CSC : Il doit être rédigé en anglais et référencé sous le numéro d’agence Type A, 0561.

Pour être recevable, votre dossier en version PDF doit être introduit par mail à WBI à l’adresse suivante : bourses@wbi.be au plus tard le 10/02/2023.

Le formulaire CSC quant à lui doit être finalisé en ligne au plus tard le 15/02/2023. A joindre à votre dossier de candidature CSC : votre dossier médical joint en PDF.

The WBI-FNRS/CSC 2023-2024 call for applications for a PhD or postdoctoral fellowship in China is open.

 

Purpose:

Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) and the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S.-FNRS) have concluded an agreement with the China Scholarship Council (CSC) allowing the granting of research scholarships in the framework of a doctorate (in cotutelle or not) or a post-doctorate, to nationals of the French Community of Belgium, in order to carry out a course of study in a Chinese university.

This programme is aimed at candidates wishing to carry out a research stay (as part of a doctorate or post-doctorate) in a Chinese university, and belonging to at least one of the following categories

  • Holders of a master's degree obtained in a higher education institution organised or subsidised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation;
  • Doctoral students (with or without co-supervision) active in a higher education institution organised or subsidised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation;
  • Post-doctoral students who carry out their research within a higher education institution organised or subsidised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

 

Details:
For long-term fellowships: 1 year (renewable up to three times for doctoral fellowships, non-renewable for post-doctoral fellowships). For short-term stays: maximum 6 months (PhD and post-doc), non-renewable. For more information on the eligible fields and the financial modalities, visit the WBI portal.

  2. Application form to be completed online on the CSC website:  It must be written in English and referenced under the agency number Type A, 0561.

To be admissible, your application in PDF format must be submitted by e-mail to WBI at the following address: bourses@wbi.be by 10/02/2023 at the latest.

The CSC form must be finalised online by 15/02/2023 at the latest. To be attached to your CSC application: your medical file in PDF.
