Wim Laurier

Professeur

Throughout his academic career, Wim has been researching the REA (Resource-Event-Agent) ontology and its application in enterprise information systems. His current research focuses on its application in decentralised economic networks through smart contracts and web services. In the past, Wim has worked on integrating the trading partner perspective of REA with the third party perspective to enable traceability and accounting at the network level, alongside traditional accounting at the level of individual organisations. Wim has also researched layered enterprise architecture, a scalable approach to enterprise architecture.
