The course covers topics related to contemporary Italy: political world, social structures, women’s place in society, immigration, relations with the European Union.  
As in any undergraduate course, the language-learning dimension is always present. 

Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :
1	Explain the contemporary Italian political system
2	Recognise the socio-political elements that characterise contemporary Italy
