This course is given in an “English-friendly” format.
The course is given largely in French, though Prof. T. Kohut will be speaking in English while using French course slides.
The standard exam for Prof. T. Kohut is a written exam in French. However, international students taking this course can request to be tested in English instead.
The course requires coursework in French. However, international students taking this course can provide the coursework for Prof. T. Kohut's assignment in English
Evaluation methods
Evaluation for the components taught by Professor. T. Kohut will be composed of a two-page research proposal and a MCQ exam. The evaluation of the components taught by Professor P. de Sutter will consist of a brief exploratory pre-research and its result presented in the form of a brief article (max 3 pages). The final mark is the weighted average of Prof. T. Kohut's research proposal (5/20) the MCQ exam in January (5/20), and Professor P. de Sutter's written work (10/20).
For the realization of all independent written assignments, the use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is prohibited.
