Le cours explore différentes façons de co-habiter avec le vivant, par les paysages qui en sont l’expression et les pratiques sociales et techniques qui les façonnent. Un parcours chronologique et géographique qui explore l’Europe et les Suds permet de dégager les rapports pluriels de l’homme au vivant et les grands enjeux contemporains de l’habiter dans une éthique du soin, en symbiose avec les ressources du vivant. Au travers d’une grille d’analyse qui intègre des éléments de contexte (environnemental, historique et socioculturel), le cours présente des principes et techniques de projet territorial du vivant.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Analyze a territory’s natural resources through its landscape features,
  • Identify mechanisms and processes that fragment interactions between human and non-human living organisms,
  • Recognize sites where co-sustenance between human and non-human life occurs,
  • Develop a framework of socio-spatial strategies for fostering cohabitation with living beings across various landscape scales, from architecture to territory,
  • Formulate a critical assessment of a landscape design process with regard to its approach to cohabitation with the living.

  • LO4.3 Learn and apply the content of artistic or scientific disciplines to enrich the architectural project.
