The aim of this course is to introduce student architects to the key aspects of project management, focusing on the different players involved in the architectural process, particularly in the context of the project process (individual housing and small-scale collective housing). The course emphasizes understanding the challenges faced by design/build teams and equips students to integrate the project programming and decision-making throughout the architectural project lifecycle.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Compile and synthesize the essential guiding elements of project programming,
  • Identify and categorize the various stages in the architectural project approval process (Design / Urbanistic Framework / Technical Framework / Realization),
  • Adopt a systemic approach to the building process, identifying and understanding the roles and interactions of the different stakeholders in the professional context.
