Main themes
This course introduces economic reasoning into a comprehensive approach to urban issues, beginning with a macroeconomic perspective (‘urban economics’) and gradually transitioning to the microeconomic level, including the economic study of real estate markets and construction.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Understand and critically analyze economic news and trends related to urban development,
  • Apply fundamental economic concepts to spatial location decisions, encompassing both residential and non-residential contexts,
  • Integrate sustainability considerations into the framework of economic growth and urban development.
