This course aims to cultivate an appreciation for landscape and inspire a passion for landscape research. Landscape is approached both as a key element of architectural projects and as a methodology for project design. To this end, thematic pairings will be introduced and discussed with students, including but not limited to: Landscape e(s)t City, Landscape e(s)t Ecology, Landscape e(s)t Resource, Landscape e(s)t Energy, Landscape e(s)t Infrastructure, and Landscape e(s)t Art.
