The dissertation must demonstrate the ability of its author to carry out and correctly present the results of a personal, objective and methodical research project, the quality of which is not necessarily linked to its scope.

1 | At the end of the thesis, the student must be able to : - actively participate in obtaining the necessary and relevant data (technical development, care, organization) - analyze, compare and interpret the results obtained (research of adequate methods, criticism, references to scientific literature) - produce a detailed report on his/her research (the dissertation text : rules and art of scientific writing) - to present and defend one's work in public in a limited time (synthesis, presentation) - participate actively in the scientific life of a community of researchers |
