Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Describe the basic principles and stages of data collection in the field of motor sciences (2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4).
  • Describe the different types of data in the field of motor sciences ( 3 )
  • Describe the different types of data collection methods used in the field of motor sciences (2. 3)
  • Identify biases in data collection and scientific articles using appropriate scales (2. 3 and 2.4)

Teaching methods
Lectures and flipped classrooms.
Students are informed that the course requires regular reading and preparation for teaching sessions.
Evaluation methods
Exam by MCQ. 30 questions will be provided: a transformation will be applied such that a score of 18/30 is required to achieve a final note for the course of 10/20. All transformed scores will be converted to notes that are rounded down to the nearest whole number.
Other information
This course is strictly reserved for FSM students. It is not open to other UCLouvain students.
