Main themes
Students are introduced to the intercomprehension of Romance languages, which is based on their close kinship. From the very first lecture, they will read and understand texts at levels C1 and C2. They will learn to recognise the conversion rules that enable them to switch from French to Italian.

Content
The student is introduced to the intercomprehension of the Romance languages, which is based on their close kinship. From the very first class session, students are asked to read and comprehend texts at C1 and C2 levels. They will learn to recognize conversion rules that allow moving from French to Italian.
After the introductory phase, the student will read and study linguistic texts written in Italian.
In the second quarter, the student will be introduced to Italian linguistics. In Q2, the course will be taught in Italian. The student will use the reading skills acquired in Q1 to study linguistic texts.
