This course has four objectives:
Deepening of the grammar concepts presented in the course La lingua italiana oggi in Block 1:
Introduction to the use of new computer and digital technologies for the correction and post-correction of texts.
Development and extension of non-academic vocabulary

- regular and irregular verbs
- tense concordance
- verb valency
- agreement between articles, adjectives and nouns

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |

Content
The three‑hour‑per‑week course aims to deepen students’ language and linguistics skills in Italian, both written and spoken, through an integrated communicative approach that emphasizes interaction, grammatical consolidation, and lexical enrichment in exercises.
In the theoretical component, grammar will be studied from a linguistic perspective: morphology, syntax, and pragmatics. Ongoing changes will be noted, as well as contradictions between prescriptive grammar and actual language use.

- Intermediate mastery of Italian (level B1⁺/B2);
- Ability to interact autonomously and in a structured manner in Italian;
- Deepening of knowledge in linguistics;
- Identifying tensions between normative grammar and the study of language in practice.
