Content
The course introduces the characteristics of communicative writing using examples drawn from contemporary organizational communication practices. It explores various communication genres and formats, such as articles, editorials, posters, web content, social media posts, and press releases. Particular attention is given to tailoring content to different stakeholders, communication objectives, and distribution channels. The course also introduces the fundamental principles of graphic design, visual identity, and layout. Students gradually apply what they have learned through writing and graphic design exercises, as well as by creating a mini-communication campaign that draws on all the skills developed during the course.
Teaching methods
The course will alternate between:
  • lectures focusing on theoretical concepts, methods, and tools related to communicative writing and graphic design;
  • hands-on sessions in the computer lab dedicated to writing exercises, layout design, and content creation;
  • tutorial sessions focused on guiding the group’s mini-communication campaign.
