Main themes
ELAL1050 is a complementary course to LBIR2050A. It consists of six modules that aim to provide basic, multidisciplinary training on the various facets and issues related to the current ecological and social crisis, as well as the process (transition) that would enable us to correct the current trajectory. LELAL 1050 will develop the linguistic and literary aspects of this process. 
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 master concepts related to sustainable development and ecological transition;
 
2 identify the main cultural roots of the current eco-social crisis;
 
3 analyse, in a given journalistic text, the linguistic dimensions relevant to understanding the tensions that run through the different conceptions of sustainable development and transition;
 
4 analyse, in a given literary text, the drivers of anthropological decentring.
 
Content
LELAL1050 is a complementary course to LBIR2050A. The latter consists of six modules to be completed online. The activities planned as part of LELAL1050 are designed to support these distance learning modules, which cover the same content.

Teaching methods
On the one hand, the course will provide a space for discussion of the MOOC (LBIR2050A) content and online activities. On the other hand, the course will offer content specific to the disciplines of literature and linguistics in relation to the module content. Activities will alternate between flipped classroom sessions, lectures to be commented on, and short essays to be written and revised together.
Evaluation methods
Continuous assessment and final examination.
