Content
The seminar course (taught in French) consists of a series of presentations and discussions on current topics related to the environment and sustainable development, complementing the other courses in the program. These presentations may be led by faculty members of the program or, on occasion, by guest speakers who are professionally involved in addressing environmental issues. The topics covered include, for example, business and the environment, recycling, clean technologies, sectoral plans and the environment, impact studies, waste management, life cycle assessments and eco-audits, employment and the environment, consumption patterns, mobility and the environment, North-South technology transfer and the environment, communication in the environmental debate, eco-epidemiology, agroecology and the Common Agricultural Policy, the Green Deal, and the Nature Restoration Act.

Evaluation methods
Grading will be based on three components, each weighted at one-third of the total points, and administered as a single exam during the exam period:
1. The first component is a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) covering a list of concepts that have been presented and discussed during the various lectures. This list will be provided to students at the end of the lectures but will not be formally defined; It is the students’ responsibility to ensure they have understood these concepts.
2. The second component is an open-ended question on a topic covered during the various lectures.
3. The third component is an open-ended, cross-disciplinary question.
Since attendance at the lectures is mandatory, a penalty of two points will be deducted from the final grade if the number of unexcused absences exceeds two.
