Main themes
The thesis project is an opportunity for students to develop a concrete educational project related to teaching French as a foreign language. This project can take various forms:
- designing a French as a foreign language course for specific purposes (professional, academic, etc.), including a needs analysis;
- development of an innovative teaching resource (textbook, teaching sequence, digital tool, etc.);
- development of a digital platform, application, or online course, incorporating generative AI, for example;
- development of a system for assessing French skills;
- design of a training program for FLE teachers;
- any other project related to educational coordination, material design, or training in French.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
| 1 | analyze the general and specific needs of a group of learners or an institution teaching French as a foreign language; |
| 2 | design a realistic, coherent teaching plan based on current approaches to language teaching; |
| 3 | apply the knowledge, skills, and methodologies studied in the master's program to address a real-world issue; |
| 4 | critically reflect on the pedagogical choices made and articulate them with the scientific literature; |
| 5 | present a professional deliverable (course, resource, program) or a reflective internship report; |
| 6 | critically evaluate a pedagogical context and their own contribution to the project. |
