Content
- Internship in a private office, within an administration responsible for the conservation and restoration of built heritage, in a restoration company (e.g. Union des Artisans du Patrimoine), in a research institute, in Belgium or abroad. Internship at the Centre des Métiers du Patrimoine de la Paix-Dieu in Amay and/or at the Pôle de la Pierre in Soignies (AWaP)...
- Trips/visits to historic parks and gardens, conservation/restoration/conversion sites and/or archaeological sites in Belgium and/or abroad. And possibly research seminars/conferences.
Teaching methods
- Three-week internship (note: the choice of internship(s) must be approved by the course coordinator(s) before commencing) ;
- Seminar(s), lectures ;
- Travel and visits.
Evaluation methods
Evaluation of the written activity report, which may be presented orally to the course co-instructors.
