Main themes
The Master Thesis is a personal and original piece of work. It serves as an introduction to research in the broad sense of the term, whether fundamental, exploratory, or applied. Its objective is therefore to contribute to the deepening of knowledge in the field of built and landscape heritage.

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
| At the end of this teaching unit, students – in collaboration with his/her promotor, will be able to formalise a question relating to heritage conservation and restoration or scientific research directly linked to the conservation/restoration/conversion of immovable and landscape cultural heritage, structure and summarise their response, and communicate it orally, graphically and in writing. |

Content
Choice and treatment of the subject, heuristics, written, graphic and oral summary of the work and research undertaken.
Teaching methods
Regular presentations of research progress to course lecturers and supervisors.
Evaluation methods
Written summary and oral public presentation, assessed by a panel comprising the supervisors, lecturers and course coordinator during the June session (or August session in the event of failure). Possibility of completing the Master Thesis in pairs (multidisciplinary), with the prior agreement of the course lecturer.
