The aim of this complementary 2nd cycle program is to prepare doctors for accreditation as holders of the special professional title of doctor specializing in clinical / medical genetics (MA of 23/05/2017 modified by AM of 29/05/2018 published on 15/06/2018).
This master is accessible if you are:
• holders of the diploma of doctor of medicine, master of medicine or doctor of a country member of the European Union and allowing medical practice in Belgium;
• bear a document attesting that you were, at the end of the selection test, selected as candidate specialists in clinical genetics, in a Belgian faculty of medicine.
The training includes full-time internships in approved services and lessons.
It is six years full-time and includes two years of general clinical training and four years of clinical genetics training.
Internships may include on-call activities.
The training plans drawn up by the university coordinating training masters must be approved by the ministerial accreditation committee for the specialty of clinical genetics for all training.
