Assessment
Participants will be assessed on the basis of the following:
- Initial assessment: at the start of the course, students complete a self-assessment of their skills and their expectations of the programme.
- Active participation in class sessions and the placement, and attendance (attendance at least 80% of the entire programme and 100% of all the placements).
- Completion of assigned tasks during the modules.
- Reflective portfolio: students will maintain a portfolio comprising their learning objectives, their self-assessment, as well as individual and peer assessments.
- Feedback from teachers and mentors based on a dedicated skills grid.
- Final assessment comprising: (1) an online theory test on knowledge of the European Union and (2) an analysis of the IS-EN interpretation of selected recorded speeches.
Successful completion of the course leads to a university certificate worth 24 credits.
It is possible to enroll in the course without taking the assessment tests: in this case, no university certificate is awarded, but a certificate of attendance is issued provided that the student attends at least 80% of the programme and 100% of all the placements.
