Ready to become a master in Business Innovation? The Double Degree programme with Aarhus University, Aarhus BSS (Business and Social Sciences) in Denmark offers a specialised, two-year degree that integrates advanced business management with innovation expertise.

Programme at a Glance: LSM/Aarhus BSS Master's

This intensive, full-time programme features a unique structure where your studies are split between your home and host universities across the two years.

Standard period of study: 4 semesters, full-time. Students enrolled in the programme will spend their first and fourth semesters at their home institution and the second and third semesters at the host institution.

 

Start: Fall semester (mid-September at LSM)

 

Language: Entirely in English

 

Degrees awarded: Two Master's Degrees upon completion of the required credits of each university: 1) LSM's "Master en ingénieur de gestion, à finalité spécialisée" AND 2) Aarhus BSS's "Master of Science in Social Sciences in Business Administration".

 

Fees: Tuition fees are paid only to your Home University for the entire duration of the studies.

Study Structure

DD students complete their studies over four semesters (two years) with the following mandatory mobility pattern:

· Semesters 1 & 4: Spent at your Home Institution (LSM or Aarhus BSS).

· Semesters 2 & 3: Spent at your Host Institution (Aarhus BSS or LSM).

The LSM x Aarhus BSS programme is a dedicated Double Degree designed to combine LSM's strong background in Business Engineering & Innovation Management with Aarhus BSS's specialization in innovative business practices.

Integrated Master's Thesis 

The Double Degree requires the completion of one single Master's thesis to satisfy the requirements of both universities.

· Supervision: You must secure two professors: one from LSM and one from Aarhus BSS. One acts as the main supervisor, and the other as the reader.

· Credit Weight: The thesis counts for 20 ECTS (LSM) and 30 ECTS (Aarhus BSS).

· Aarhus Degree Requirement (for LSM Home Students): To receive the full 30 ECTS credit package from Aarhus, students whose home institution is LSM must write a 10 ECTS research paper during their 3rd semester in Aarhus, with a topic related to their main Master's thesis.

· Procedure: The thesis is written in English. Procedures and calendar follow the Home University rules. Students typically begin preparatory work during the first year.

· Defense: A mandatory oral defense is required. This takes place virtually (via videoconference) in the presence of at least two professors.
