The Wednesday Seminars usually take place in room 447, Bâtiment "santé publique", Clos Chapelle-aux-Champs, 30, 1200 Woluwé-Saint-Lambert.

Programme for the academic year 2026-2027

Fany Panichelli, travaille sur un projet de recherche de promotion de la santé et au soutien et à la réalisation des missions du RESO, principalement à travers le partage et la vulgarisation de connaissances scientifiques aux professionnels du social-santé avec un thème de prédilection qui est la périnatalité. 

Laura Gimenez travaille également sur le projet de recherche sur la promotion de la santé et sur l’évaluation des projets et sur le partage de connaissance. 

Abstract : 

Depuis 2025, le RESO mène une recherche relative à la promotion de la santé en milieu du travail en Région wallonne. La première étape de cette étude (janvier-décembre 2025) propose un état des lieux destiné à esquisser un cadre opérationnel pour permettre le déploiement de la promotion de santé dans le monde du travail en Wallonie. La deuxième étape (2026-27) prend la forme d’une recherche-action qui sera menée dans deux entreprises wallonnes.

Lazaros Andronis is a Professor of Health Economics at the University of Warwick (UK). His research focuses on health economics, particularly on the application of social science and health services research methods to economic questions related to health and healthcare. His recent work is part of a broader research programme examining how the time of children and young people can be measured, valued and incorporated into economic evaluations.

Abstract :

Comprehensive economic evaluations ought to account for all relevant resources, including those contributed by care recipients themselves. People’s time is such a resource yet, when it comes to children and young people (CYP), there are few suggestions on—and even fewer insights into—how to value and include their time in economic evaluations. In this talk, I will give a ‘whistle-stop tour’ of recent work that looks into how CYP’s time can be captured and valued in economic evaluations. I will summarise the outputs of completed work packages and present findings from choice experiments designed to determine the value— in pounds and pennies—that CYP in the UK put on their time. I will close with ongoing and future initiatives aiming to extend this work by looking at different countries and settings.
