"Where in Rwanda Are Rift Valley Fever Mosquitoes Most Likely to Thrive?"
Abstract :
Brigitte Umutoni is a PhD researcher at UCLouvain and the University of Rwanda. Her research focuses on modelling the transmission of vector-borne zoonotic diseases, particularly Rift Valley fever (RVF) in Rwanda. In this seminar, she will present results from her first PhD study, which maps environmental suitability for Culex quinquefasciatus, a mosquito species implicated in RVF transmission in Rwanda.

"La promotion de la santé en milieu professionnel"
Abstract :
Depuis 2025, le RESO mène une recherche relative à la promotion de la santé en milieu du travail en Région wallonne. La première étape de cette étude (janvier-décembre 2025) propose un état des lieux destiné à esquisser un cadre opérationnel pour permettre le déploiement de la promotion de santé dans le monde du travail en Wallonie. La deuxième étape (2026-27) prend la forme d’une recherche-action qui sera menée dans deux entreprises wallonnes.
