Two LouRIM researchers received distinctions this month for the quality of their work, recognized at international conferences in their respective fields.
Tryphène Ndombasi received the Best Paper Award in the Early-Stage category at the ESU Conference (European University Network on Entrepreneurship) for her paper Identity Anchoring: Understanding Entrepreneurial Identity Coherence Among Congolese Christian Women Entrepreneurs in Belgium.
Diego Barrio Herrezuelo received the Best PhD Paper Award at the 2026 Cryptocurrency Research Conference for his paper Time Will Tell: Linguistic Temporality and Investor Decisions in Digital Entrepreneurial Finance, co-authored with Feilian Xia, James Thewissen and Jennifer Thewissen.
These distinctions reflect the quality and rigor of the research conducted at LouRIM, and its recognition within the international academic community. We extend our warmest congratulations to them.
