Abstract :

Papers published in top journals are not only based on excellent research, they are also written excellently. The goal of this Masterclass is to discover why top papers are better written than papers in lower ranked journals. How have these articles presented their contribution to convince reviewers and editors? Why does their introduction section read as compelling? What are the main differences in terms of structure, detail, logic, and writing style between a top journal paper and an ‘average’ paper with a similar research method?
